Anecdotes and key moments in video game history
This Netflix docuseries features some key moments from the early years of the video game industry, in the 1980s and 1990s.
They bring together an interesting panel of the first people who were innovators in this field. Despite some conclusions that come to an end too quickly in my opinion, they do present some very interesting stories about this era, both the golden and the darkest moments.
I found it very interesting, for example, to watch Atari start up and almost crash because of the game “E.T.”, and listen to the creator of this so hated game.
To conclude, I advise you to watch this docuseries. However, keep in mind that it does not show the whole history of the video game, but a few time capsules by interviewing people involved in this rich era.
