Synopsis
I finally managed to find a good story for my game. Here is the first draft of my synopsis.
Synopsis – First Draft
The Pixel Who Wanted To Be A NPC (Provisional title)
The main character is a pixel in a text-based role-playing game. Their life is so boring that one day they decide to jump off their grid with the goal of becoming an NPC in a three-dimensional role-playing game.
Right after the pixel jumps off the text grid, they encounter Buba, the wise owl. She will guide the main character throughout his journey. She gives them their name: Dot, explaining that they can choose their own name when they have completed their quest.
During their journey, Dot will face trials to prove that they are worthy of carrying the title of NPC. Each time they solve one of these puzzles, the world around them will evolve in a visual, audible and interactive way. Without knowing it, they will evolve in a summary history of video games. Buba will be present at all stages of their journey to guide them and help them achieve their goals.
