
Multiple scenes and UI work
The new version of the prototype is here!
I worked on multiple scenes, the intro and the game scenes. But my main work was on the UI.
For the introduction, I used the Curve UI plugin, which I’ll also be using for my 2D view in the game. It works great.
For the game view, I solved a big problem from my previous project (The Rite Of Passage). Indeed, I couldn’t put my in-game UI on top of everything. I solve this problem by using a special shader that I found here.
Next step, implement the pause and 2D UI layers in the game. I should be doing this next weekend.
