I ask myself the questions that is in the title … Should I work with 3-edged or 4-edged faces or both? And should all vertexes be aligned or not?
After some testing, I chose the left tree (photo below), the trunk has 4-edged faces and the foliage has 3-edged faces, and the vertexes aren’t aligned.
I prefer this aspect.

At this time, I will not be modeling other items. These should be enough to make my next prototype.

Unity
My Unity project can now manage multiple scenes with a Singleton / GameManager.
My next step is to manage the different UI layers in the Introduction and World scenes.
