I am Oliv Francey, 43 years old and I live in Switzerland. I work as a vocational teacher at eikon, the professional school of applied arts in Fribourg, Switzerland. There, I teach Illustrator and Frontend Development in particular.
I started my master’s degree in Digital Media Design at the University of Edinburgh as a part-time online student in the fall of 2018, and I plan to complete this degree at summer 2021.
This blog mainly concerns my final project but I also add articles on the other courses of the program.
The title “A Francey en Écosse” is a play on words in French. It can be translated by: “A French in Scotland”. But as my last name (Francey) is pronounced exactly like Français (French) but I don’t live in France, this seems like a funny title.
